cookie policy

Zero analytics cookies. Not even a banner.

It would be strange for a company built on consent to sneak trackers onto its own website. We used to ask before loading Google Analytics; now there is nothing to ask about — we replaced it with analytics we host ourselves that uses no cookies and stores no personal data.

How we count visits without cookies

On our public websites — pryvc.com, consumers.pryvc.com, business.pryvc.com, docs.pryvc.com, and developers.pryvc.com — we count visits with our own analytics, running on our own infrastructure. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and sends nothing to any third-party analytics company. Visits are tallied with an anonymous hash that rotates daily, so we see page counts — never people, and never anyone's browsing history. No advertising, no profiling, no audience selling, no data broker anything.

Because nothing identifies you and nothing is stored on your device, there is no consent banner: there is no longer anything to consent to. If you previously answered our old Google Analytics banner, that choice (kept in your browser as pryvc.cookie-consent.v1) is now unused — Google Analytics is gone from these sites either way, and you can clear the entry any time.

Not on the app or the business portal

There is no analytics on app.pryvc.com or portal.pryvc.com — the signed-in surfaces — by deliberate choice. Those pages carry identifiers in their URLs, and sending them to a third party would contradict everything else we say. Those sites use only the cookies required to keep you signed in.

Strictly necessary cookies

Signing in sets a session cookie. It exists only to keep you authenticated, it is not used for tracking, and the site cannot function without it — so it is not part of the choice above.
